Your opponent Cubemaster Bill has been beating you down with Sword of War and Peace (i.e. Sword with protection from your deck) for most of the game. You were doing a fair job of keeping up with the damage, but a Plow Under really set you back. You considered casting an upkeep Magma Jet to scry away the lands, but then you realized that the Mountain on top is exactly what you need to win the game this turn.
You CAN win this turn. How would you guys do this? I'll comment on this in a day or so with the correct answer.

Nope, that kills all of your creatures except for Silver knight while he still has 3/3 Llanowar elves as well as Loxodon Hierarch. I'll give you a hint, When Eight and a half tails 1st and 2nd ability activate, it replaces the old color.

2. Use eight and a half tails to make sword of war and peace white (making it fall off of elf)
3. Cast pyroclasm and make it white on the stack with eight and a half tails
4.equip bonesplitter onto blood knight and swing for game!

ReplyDeleteactually this solution doesn't work, because pyroclasm will still kill your blood knight. protection from white will not prevent damage from pyroclasm because it is not targeting your creature. If you read the rules on 'protection'you will find that spells that apply to all creatures also apply to creatures with protection. This means spells like wrath of god will kill creatures with pro white, and pyroclasm will deal damage to creatures with pro red. or in this case, pro white.
